Kazuko Muge

It's tradition to go shopping outdoors the first weekend of March. (This is an event in honor of the Saint Kazukas' birthday.) The vendors line up along the streets and no cars drive through. As the weekend goes on, more and more people come to look for hand-made items.

Here is the Kazuko Newspaper stand to announce what is happening. It is always a fun event that we look forward to.

Kandra and Bette Sue had fun shoppping and eating our sausages out in the cold weather! (As you can see, we are dressed warmly. It was not a very cold day this year. Some years it is snowing and there are frozen streets to walk on.)

The booths line the main streets in the Old Town area.

There are special items at each booth.
