We enjoyed time with Rimas, Emilija, Julija, Ivanas and Olga in our home.  We have been blessed with their friendship since our first day of arrival in Lithuania

Christmas Eve

We had fun at the Christmas Market in Old Town.  It was a beautiful afternoon and a relaxing way to enjoy our day.

It was still cold outside and we were glad we bundled up.

The market has nice booths and fun things for sale.

This large manger is out every year and a great reminder of the true meaning of Christmas.

Jonava Christmas meeting

Earlier in December, we had a special time at the Jonava Children's Center talking about the meaning of Christmas and traditions for families. Reda (standing to the left of Bob) is doing a fantastic job leading this ministry.

Leadership Training Day

Bob had the privilege of training leaders in the church in Panevezys.  They have started a ministry to young men graduating from the Teen Challenge centers as well.  God is working through this church.

It is our privilege to serve on the Eurasia Northwest Leadership Team under the leadership of Norm and Heather Edwards.  We are thankful for these great missionary friends.

Cabin 10

It's up and the roof is on!  PTL!  All 10 cabins are up!  It has been an incredible summer.  We are thankful for all the work that everyone has done to accomplish this goal.  Thanks for all the finances that have been given to allow it to happen!

Thanksgiving Day

We had a wonderful time with our missionaries in Tallinn, Estonia for Thanksgiving this year.  It is always a joy to share holidays with our friends that have become like family to us.

Teen Challenge Annual Fall Conference

The conference this year was fantastic!  God used R.J. Pasquale's messages to challenge everyone to "open all the rooms" in our hearts and give them completely to the Lord.  Then to "step into" his plans and provision for our lives.  It was a great day with over 140 in attendance.

Lithuanian Birthday Traditions

Bette Sue celebrated her 60th birthday with a special Lithuanian tradition.  The usual plan is to lift the birthday person up while sitting in a chair the number of years of their age.  Bette Sue agreed to being lifted 10 times, they stretched it to 11 and that was quite enough.

Teen Challenge Lithuania Strategic Planning Meeting

This year we were privileged to have Rick Souza, from International Teen Challenge, join us for a time of strategic planning.  The meetings were excellent!  Rick has a gift for opening discussion and preparing the way for ideas to be presented.  Everyone was excited!  Some fantastic goals were set and we are going to see this ministry continue to grow.

Cafeteria getting a face-lift!

 It has begun...the exterior of the cafeteria is being completed now!  PTL!  The entrance, patio area, insulation and exterior wood covering will be done before winter.  The building will be warmer and we are thankful for this progress!

Cabin 8

Cabin 8 is up and the roof is completed!  PTL!  Thank you, Almantas and other men from the churches that helped finish it!  Thank you, Jacksonville for this cabin!

Jacksonville Team Accomplishes Great Things!

In spite of many challenges during the week, the Jacksonville, Florida team did an incredible amount of work.  We are grateful for another fantastic MAPS Construction Team that worked so hard to help us get closer to the goal of completing Phase I at camp.  Thanks, Jacksonville and everyone for coming!
