Camp permits in hand!

We are excited to now have the two camp building permits. Our Camp Director, Linas, is so thankful. We can move forward with our construction projects now. PTL!

Two cabins are back on their foundations and the third one will need a new foundation built.

God provided by changing the heart of the inspector that was against us so that he became the one that directed the changes for allowing the permits. PTL!!!!!!

Pentecostal Union Conference

On the weekend of March 13th and 14th, the yearly meeting for the Pentecostal Union's pastors and leaders met in Vilnius.

Rimantas Kupstys, our Bishop (Superintendent), led the meetings. Our speakers were from Belarus and Latvia. They all emphasized the need to minister and live in the power of the Holy Spirit. We can not make it in our own strength. It was an encouraging time for everyone. (The meetings were in Russian and Lithuanian. We had an interpreter for English. So, you may be able to imagine the situation with three languages going on at once :) )

There was prayer for various ministries. The Teen Challenge workers filled the front of the church.

Linas is our Camp Director. Please keep this man in prayer as he pastors a church and leads the camp program as well. He was asking for a show of hands as to who knew about the camp. More of our churches are getting involved with the camp and we are thankful.

Snowy day in Pabrade

This is the church building in Pabrade where we had the marriage seminar. They are located across the street from the Police Station so it is a very safe location. We purchased a shower recently to help with the after-school children's program. Many of the street kids do not have a place to shower and this has been a big help to them.

It was a snowy day and as you can see, even the man on the bike was working hard to get somewhere.

How do you like this purple house?

Marriage Seminar in Pabrade

The last two weekends we went with the McClungs to the small town of Pabrade, about 45 minutes from Vilnius. We held a marriage seminar on six basic areas of marriage. There were seven couples in attendance during both weekends. We feel this will be the beginning of ministry to couples in our churches. The divorce rate is climbing here and we want to do all we can to help build stronger marriages.
