Cafeteria/Kitchen at Camp

"Valgykla" is the cafeteria. So exciting to know it was a blessing to the campers this year. PTL!

Floors were washed after lunch.

The women worked hard this week cooking and cleaning.

The new kitchen and equipment are already being used and a great blessing to the campers!

The youth enjoyed eating inside this year. (Still using borrowed tables and chairs but will one day have ones to keep at camp all the time.)

Each group at camp eats together at their own table.

We even got to enjoy our first meal in the new cafeteria!!!!!! It was an exciting time to see everyone using the building and to use it ourselves! PTL!!!!!!!!!

Youth Camp

Youth Camp was an exciting time again this year. The campground was set up like a "hospital" with special therapy areas everywhere.

Everyone was trying to make some giant bubbles with soapy water.

The big tent is still being used for the main meetings. It is getting old! We need to build a multi-purpose building before the tent falls apart.

Bob had a great message on the "backbone" and having a good spiritual posture. The theme for the week at camp was on the body and being healthy.

Great time of prayer at the altar at the close of the meeting. PTL!

Children's Camp

The big tent is still being used for services, games and craft times. (One day we hope to have a large multi-purpose building instead of a tent. It will come!)

Everyone is enjoying the new place to eat in the cafeteria. (Still borrowing tables but so thankful that we can use the cafeteria!!!)

Group pictures were taken during camp.

Some of the children slept in the log cabins. No beds yet but it was nice and dry in spite of the rain. What a blessing!!!!!!

Visitors and 4th of July

Our great friends, Charlie and Dawn Grow, visited us last weekend. They brought their granddaughters (who are visiting them), Erika and Alana, with them too. We had such a great time of playing games, wandering around Lithuania and hanging out together! (Dawn was our son's first babysitter in Germany when he was born.) Charlie is working in Germany and they live in the Stuttgart area.

Dawn blessed Bette Sue with two fresh buttered German pretzels. What a treat!!!!!!!! (Also some Fritos for us to share and Bette Sue shared the pretzel with Bob too.)

4th of July celebrating started at the Millsaps' home with grilled burgers and all the extras to go with it. The weather even cooperated and we had a nice dinner together outside. (The Grows, Sharon McCammon, David Millsaps, and us.)

We ended our 4th of July celebrating with sparklers. It was a great day together!
