Siauliai Marriage Seminar

Last weekend we had the privilege of visiting a church, men's rehab center, crisis center, and children's day-care center. Pastor Vladimiras and his wife, Tatjana, lead all these ministries. Bob taught at the men's center and preached at church.

On Saturday we taught a marriage seminar. It was so good to get to know these new friends. We pray for the Lord to use the information to grow stronger marriages.

This is a new area of ministry for us and we are seeing God open more doors and give us new ideas to share. It is exciting to offer hope and practical ways to bring God's truth to others. Please pray for this group in Siauliai.

Game Night

It was the night for ladies to play games in our home. Sharon and Patti from our missionary team and Josalyn came over for Fajitas and games! Josalyn is visiting Sharon for a time of learning what life is like as a missionary. She is from Florida and is facing our colder Lithuanian weather, plus no heat or hot water in Sharon's flat!

Josalyn is a Michigan fan. Her parents both grew up in Michigan. Sharon is a loyal Ohio State fan and even has a OSU shower curtain to prove it.

We had a great time playing Hand and Foot with two decks of U of M cards included and eating goodies. That Wolverine wild card and GO BLUE emblem showed up regularly :) The whole time was fun and filled with some good times of laughter. Just like the Bible says, "A joyful heart is good medicine." Proverbs 17:22 We all got a good dose of our medicine last night!

Visitors

Tomas and Jurga came by to visit and share their pictures from their recent vacation to Prague. We have known both of them since we first arrived in Lithuania. They have been a help to us many times with various things but especially with our needs when we first arrived. We are thankful for the friends the Lord has given us here!
