Georgia MAPS Team

We were privileged to have a MAPS construction team from Griffin, GA, come to work at camp. This group was excellent. They worked hard and were a great blessing to the project.

On their tour day we visited Trakai Castle and did some shopping. Pictured here are Vickey and Bonnie buying bells from our favorite "bell lady," Dana. Dana makes all her clay bells and jewelry herself. She has become a friend we look forward to visiting when in Trakai.

Leaders' Training in Panevezys

Bob was invited to help in leadership training with the church in Panevezys. We are thankful for the opportunity to minister in this way. When we are able to help train leaders, we know it will be a benefit to everyone in the church.

Happy Birthday, Bob!

Bob celebrated his birthday yesterday and today. We had a nice, relaxing day at home just like he requested.

Today after preaching at a church in Pabrade, the pastor and friends there surprised Bob with a beautiful arrangement of flowers and a stuffed lion. (Bob is at home in the picture since there were no cameras at church today.) They encouraged him to be like a lion and face things as a lion does with power and strength. What a great reminder!

It is wonderful to celebrate another year of God's faithfulness and the gift of life for Bob.

Mother's Day

It was Mother's Day in Lithuania already. It is always the first Sunday in May. This gives us a chance to celebrate twice!

While at New Life they presented the moms with a tulip and then prayed for them. It was a nice way to be thought of and appreciated as moms.

Spring

Spring has arrived in Lithuania. The fresh green look is everywhere.

Our neighbor's Cherry tree is in full bloom directly across from the balcony off our guest room/Bob's office. It is beautiful!

The change in seasons always brings a fresh look at things and spring cleaning time!
