Kazuko Muge

It was that time of year again...the first weekend of March to go OUTSIDE to the Kazuko Muge. This is in honor of St. Kasamir and to bring in the spring.

Well, as you can see from the pictures, there was not much spring but there were lots of vendors and people out shopping.

Here are some individuals with their own "wares" to sell. It is always interesting to see what is being offered and how they display it at times.

There were even booths selling Shakotis, the traditional Lithuanian cake where Bette Sue is standing near the baking rack. Of course, we had to buy one of them!!!!

As you can see on the map, the market stretched down a few streets. They stop the traffic and let the people walk on the streets for shopping. It is definitely a big event for the whole weekend.
