Vilnius Christmas Market

We had a nice time visiting the Christmas Market in Vilnius this year.  The main one is in front of the Cathedral.  A second one was held in front of the Presidential Palace specifically to benefit Non-Government Organizations that work with special needs.  During this market we had the privilege and honor to meet Lithuania's President Grybauskaite!

We even got our picture with President Grybauskaite!

She talked with everyone and stopped at every booth

Our friend, Lyra, (and her husband, Jack) work with the
Rugute fund that helps children with cancer

The Food Bank fund helps our Teen Challenge centers,
children's centers and so many people across Lithuania!
Our friend, Tania, is on the left of the President.

Dear Bob and Bette Sue MacIsacc: My name is Anne Schenk and I have the privilege of attending Canton Calvary Church AOG.I am the Missions Secretary and we profile missionaries once a month. I will be profiling you on Sunday December 28, 2014, telling the congregation how the Lord is using you in Lithuania. You are one of the missionary couples that we support. We will also pray for you. May God continue to bless you, the ministry that he has given you and your family richly in the New Year!

God bless you always!

Hi Bob and Bette Sue,
Your pictures remind me of the Christmas markets in Germany! How exciting to meet the President, too! Your town looks lovely and I love the lighted Christmas trees. It is good to see your pictures and hear what you are doing. Even tho I don't write, please know I think about you guys often, and remember our times together in Germany. I thought of you especially on Dec. 8, and hadn't realized it was your 30th anniversary. Many blessings be on you as you continue to serve the Lord! Love you, Libby (Davis) Westcott
