Bob's Birthday Celebrations

Bob's celebrating for his 60th birthday began in Missouri. We surprised him with missionary friends and college friends. He couldn't believe everyone was there for a Mexican dinner together.

It was great to have our son, Matt, with us to celebrate too. Matt was the distracting factor to keep Bob away while we got ready for the party

When we returned to MI, our family came together to surprise Bob again. He had no idea we would celebrate a second time and was very pleasantly surprised to have a Lions party waiting for him! Of course, we ate Mexican, his favorite.

Bob got a Lions jersey with his age "60" and the year 19 51 on the shoulders. The back says "Bob is 60" too. He was so surprised!

Thanks to Robin, our dear friend, for all the decorations and Lions gear to decorate the room!

Bob was shocked to get a Lions football personally signed by Coach Jim Swartz!

Bette Sue's brother, Larry, wore his Lion's shirt to join in the Lions theme for the party. (Many of us wore Lions shirts if we had one.)
