Matt has been celebrating New Year's Eve for several years out at the Doan's house. Josh Doan is his good friend and together they brought in the New Year with many, many fireworks. Here are two of Josh's brothers giving a hand too.We joined them for the first time and had lots of fun with everyone.
Sparklers after midnight in the COLD weather is something that you just have to try. It is really a great way to celebrate!
We think these are called "Chinese Lanterns" and are like a mini hot-air balloon that comes in all kinds of shapes and sizes. This one was a red heart that Josh was sending up for his wife. It is a bit challenging to get it to fill up so it will fly away. We watched it until it faded into the night.
Fireworks were being shot off all around the Doan's home from the neighbors.
