July brings camp time for the Pentecostal Union churches and others. We spoke at Family Camp again this year. Our topic was "Marriage Tune-up" and we related events in a marriage to keeping your car tuned up. We are thankful for the opportunity to encourage couples in their marriages once again.
During the camp sessions there were skits and lots of fun as well. The weather was warm and everyone enjoyed swimming in the lake. Even all the little ones were having a great time!
We learned that the first family camp was in 2004 with 15 people in attendance. This year there were 140 adults and children at camp. PTL! It was a great group representing over nine cities.
Dishes are still being washed in outdoor sinks. We are eager to get the kitchen/cafeteria completed.
